Admission ceremony for new members of the Communist Party of Vietnam for students who are elite union members

With the consent of the school’s Party Committee, on October 30, 2022, the branch of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering under the Party Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Engineering and Technology held a Party admission ceremony for student Nguyen Thanh Thong, is an elite youth union member of BCTech.
Attending the party member admission ceremony were Mr. Truong Xuan Linh, Secretary of the Party cell, Dean of the Electrical Faculty; Mr. Ha Quoc Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union; with all party members in the branch of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

To be in the ranks of the Party, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Thong, a student of Mechatronics, has spent a long time studying hard and actively participating in Union and Association activities; with the care, guidance and support of the Youth Union, teachers and Party members in the branch of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

The admission ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere, in accordance with the order and procedures for admitting new party members. At the ceremony, Comrade Truong Xuan Linh, Secretary of the Party cell announced and handed over the admission decision and assigned tasks to new party members.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Thong always achieves high achievements in study, actively participates in career counseling support activities. Mr. Thong is a volunteer of the rapid response team for COVID-19 prevention in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province to assist in data entry at the provincial CDC. He was awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Youth Union for achieving the title of “5 Good Student” at the provincial level in the academic year 2021-2022, the Provincial Student Union’s Certificate of Merit for his outstanding achievements in the Association’s work and the Student movement in the school year 2020 – 2021; Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in implementing the Resolution of the Student Union Congress; received the Certificate of excellent completion of the mission of the volunteer data entry team to support the CDC; participated and won the Consolation prize in the innovation contest for Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province in 2021.
