School – Enterprise Connection Ceremony and Kick-off of the 2025 – 2026 School Year

On the afternoon of November 7, 2025, Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Technology (BCTech) held a School – Enterprise Connection Ceremony and kicked off the 2025 – 2026 school year. Attending the ceremony was comrade Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council.

In her opening speech, Ms. Truong Huynh Nhu, Principal of Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Technology, said that training high-quality technical human resources to serve the marine economy and green industry has become a key task that the school is determined to pursue.
During that journey, the school has always received the attention and close guidance of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, along with the coordination and support of departments, branches and sectors. Thanks to that, BCTech has gradually affirmed its position as one of the key vocational training institutions in the region.

BCTech signed a training cooperation agreement with businesses
“The school always believes that: “The strength of vocational education is the strength of connection”, connecting the government, businesses and schools, for the same goal: developing high-quality human resources, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of the new Ho Chi Minh City”, Ms. Nhu emphasized.

BCTech receives scholarship sponsorship from businesses
At the ceremony, the school signed training cooperation agreements with 5 businesses. At the same time, it received sponsorship from 30 organizations and businesses for the school’s Scholarship Fund. On this occasion, BCTech expressed gratitude to the businesses and schools that have accompanied it over the past time.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong requested that in the coming time, BCTech continue to innovate the training model based on practical capacity, focusing on learners, taking teachers as examples of ethics, creativity and dedication. In particular, focusing on increasing practice time, cultivating professional skills, foreign language proficiency and soft skills.
Along with that is expanding business links and international cooperation, forming a practical ecosystem simulating the business environment associated with industrial parks, marine economic zones and high-tech zones. In addition, it is necessary to develop a team of international standard lecturers, increase participation in the Southeast training network…

He affirmed that the city will continue to create a mechanism to support infrastructure investment, serve training and learning, encourage businesses to participate in skills training, technology transfer and support students to start creative businesses.
