On the afternoon of November 23, 2022, Mr. Iain Micallef – Human Resources Director of Trelleborg Group (Sweden) and leaders of Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park came to recruit staff at Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Technology. (BCTech). The School Board of Directors worked with the delegation.

According to Mr. Iain Micallef: Trelleborg is a global engineering corporation focusing on the production of plastic materials using polymer technology, headquartered in Trelleborg, Sweden, with more than 21,000 employees. Trelleborg is investing in building a factory in Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park and has a need to recruit 300 welding, electrical and automation technicians in 2023.
Truong Huynh Nhu, Rector of the school expressed her desire to cooperate with Trelleborg in enrollment, training and supply of technical and technological human resources. Create opportunities for our students to access modern Swedish technology.

Since 2018, Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Technology and Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park (PM3SIP) have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in connecting businesses to participate in vocational education activities. The signing aims to implement the policy of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province on attracting investment from enterprises to operate in industrial parks. The two sides focused on cooperating on surveying labor needs of enterprises in PM3SIP to serve the recruitment and training of human resources in line with the reality of enterprises.
