BCTech: A new step forward in training and developing human resources in the renewable energy industry

On the afternoon of February 27, 2025, at the 2nd campus of Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Technology (BCTech), BCTech, ASSIST and GE Vernova Vietnam held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding on the Renew Skills project. The event marked an important step forward in improving the quality of training, opening up many development opportunities for students in the field of renewable energy.
Attending the ceremony, ASSIST representatives included Mr. Arumugaraj Davitdurai Pandian – Regional Director, GE Vernova Vietnam representatives included Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung – General Director. BCTech representatives included Ms. Truong Huynh Nhu – School Principal, Mr. Ngo Xuan Khoat – School Vice Principal, and Mr. Vo Van Thuan – School Vice Principal.
The Renew Skills project focuses on advanced training and retraining of professional skills in the field of renewable energy for students and technicians. The project aims to provide high-quality human resources to meet the growing needs of the renewable energy industry in Vietnam.

Through this Memorandum of Understanding, the three parties will implement many practical training programs, connect businesses and create conditions for students to access advanced technology in the industry. This is not only an opportunity for students to have solid skills but also contributes to promoting the sustainable development of the renewable energy industry in Vietnam.
