BCTech receives industrial automation training equipment sponsorship from Siemens and NS Bluescope Vietnam

On the afternoon of March 25, 2025, Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Technology (BCTech) held a ceremony to receive sponsorship of industrial automation training equipment from Siemens Co., Ltd. and NS Bluescope Vietnam Co., Ltd.

In order to improve the quality of automation human resource training, on November 19, 2024, BCTech signed a sponsorship contract with Siemens and NS Bluescope Vietnam. Accordingly, Siemens sponsored BCTech with 300 licenses of Integrated Automation software packages and 6 sets of industrial automation training equipment, with a total value of more than 1.5 billion VND. NS Bluescope Vietnam sponsored 1 industrial control cabinet and the cost of completing the installation into 6 industrial automation training modules, with a total value of nearly 200 million VND.

With the support of Siemens and NS Bluescope Vietnam, BCTech has received, installed and put into use many modern devices such as PLC 1200, PLC 1500 controllers, HMI screens, SINAMICS inverter drives, system parameter monitoring via SIMATIC IOT and many other expansion modules… To effectively operate the devices in training, the school has sent staff and teachers to learn from the experiences of these two companies. Up to now, the operation and use of the devices at the school have been proficiently performed by the school’s staff and teachers.
